PROGRAMS IN ACTION
MEDITATION OUTREACH PROGRAM
Equipped with training and support, volunteers will facilitate non-denominational group meditations at localities within their community where a need exists. These guided meditations will be directed towards the specific needs of a particular group, such as battered women's shelters, homeless shelters, nursing homes, senior centers, orphanages, hospices and churches.
HUMANITARIAN ORGANIZATION SUPPORT
We seek to financially assist existing highly-rated humanitarian organizations in an effort to have a greater impact and achieve greater results through partnership. Global efforts include organizations such as GMCKS Charitable Foundation, Mercy Corps, American Red Cross, and Doctors Without Borders. Local efforts may include organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, Para Los Ninos (children below the poverty line in Southern California.) and Second Harvest Food Bank.
FEEDING PROGRAMS
Our intention is to encourage and support the creation of new and existing GMCKS feeding programs in all areas of the country. Our vision is for the feeding program to include not only a physical component but to have an emotional, mental and spiritual benefit as well.
DEVELOPING, EVOLVING, ADAPTING...
Among our many objectives, we look forward to developing additional community outreach programs as needs arise. Some of these projects may include providing clothing, blankets, hygiene kits and other basics to sustain life, as well as school supplies for children in need and hospital visits to the sick.
